Function parse

parse(buffer: InputData, options?: ParseOptions): ParseResult
Parses an SPC file, auto-detecting the format: Thermo Galactic GRAMS SPC, Shimadzu UVProbe (OLE2 or flat) .spc, or PerkinElmer .sp (binary or ASCII).
Parameters
- buffer: InputData
  SPC file buffer.
- options: ParseOptions = {}
  parsing options.
Returns ParseResult
JSON-like object with the spectra and metadata of the file.

Throws
With code UNSUPPORTED_FORMAT when the format is not recognised (the message names known foreign formats, and a file shorter than 32 bytes is never recognised), or TRUNCATED when a Galactic file (at least 32 bytes) ends before the data its header announces, a PerkinElmer block runs past the end of the file, or a PerkinElmer ASCII file has no #GR or #DATA section.

Throws
When options.encoding is not a supported encoding.
